Swatch and Review – KBShimmer Summer 2016

KBShimmer Summer 2016Hey everyone!!!! I have a really exciting post for you today. KBShimmer just released their 2016 Summer collection on June 1st, and Katie from Harlow & Co. was awesome enough to send me four of them to review for you!!! Also stay tuned for a special offer at the end of this post.

KBShimmer Summer 2016

The collection contains 12 polishes in a variety of different finishes, from glitter crellies to shimmers to metallic flakies. There is something for everyone in this collection!

All of the swatches below were done with no base coat and 1 coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.

ALONG FOR THE TIDE

Along For The Tide is described as an inky blue polish jam-packed with shimmery micro flecks that shift from pink to violet to purple, with a linear holo in there as well. This polish is stunning!!! It’s super vibrant and eye-catching. The formula was great, I did two coats for the photos below.

Removal was easy as well. Win-win!

Then I decided to do some nail art:

ONE NIGHT SAND

One Night Sand is described as a copper/rose gold metallic-flake finish with pops of holo. This polish is AMAZING! It is by far the most blinged-out polish I have ever seen. I took a lot of pictures in various poses and light to showcase just how stunning this polish is. This is two very easy and very opaque coats:

The finish on this top coat was nice and smooth, not rough at all. It applied really easily with just the brush to full opacity (no dabbing with a sponge necessary, and no undie). The removal was super easy on this polish.

SUIT THE BREEZE

Suit The Breeze is a periwinkle blue with pink shimmer and violet micro flakes. What a great colour for summer!!! It is a little more sheer than the other polishes I tried, so I used 3 coats for the photos below:

Removal was just slightly more difficult than a regular polish, however still very easy with a non-acetone remover.

READY FOR A GOOD LIME

Ready For A Good Lime is a stop-you-in-your-tracks pastel neon green crème. This is my first KBShimmer crème, despite it being one of my favourite brands. I had heard how amazing they are and Ready For A Good Lime delivered!!! This is two easy coats– no white base undie required!

You can see that the sun and shade shots are both incredibly neon – they look practically identical. This polish is just screaming put me on your toes!!!
