Good day nail friends! Today on the blog I have info on an exciting and beautiful collaboration between Canadian Indie Girly Bits Cosmetics and Australian Indie Femme Fatale. Inspired by the whimsical and delicate, the collaboration colours features soft hues, iridescence and tons of flakes! I also have swatches of the Girly Bits half of the collab so keep reading!!
Pricing is $16.50 CAD each for the Girly Bits and $18.25 each CAD for the Femme Fatales on the Girly Bits site, and the reverse on the Femme Fatale site ($16.50 AUD each for the Femme Fatales and $18.25 AUD each for the Girly Bits), or you can save 10% on either site if you order all 4 together. The Femme Fatales come in ombre boxes as well!
Let’s check these beauties out! All swatches were two coats plus Girly Bits What a Rush Quick-Dry Top Coat.
Where the Sky Ends
Described as an ethereal lilac base with a violet to gold shimmer, holo flakes, pale green holo microglitter, and green to copper iridescent flakes.
Aussie What You Did
Described as a clear base filled with holographic pigment, holo flakes, aqua to turquoise shimmer, pink holographic microglitter, and pink, gold, blue, and green multichrome flakes.
And the Femme Fatales are:
Described as a turquoise base with pink glow, red-green-gold shifting iridescent flakies and holo accents.
Described as a milky base with violet glow, red shifting chrome flakes, red iridescent glitters and holo glitters.
Pam is a master at creating polishes with A LOT going on but keeping them cohesive on the nail. Formula was beauty for both, you may need 3 coats of Aussie What You Did There if you apply it thinly or if you have more visible nail line that I do. They dry quickly and you will want a top coat to smooth it all out. Removal was more difficult than a regular polish but less so than a full-on glitter.
I think both makers did a great job with the theme and while I personally have never tried Femme Fatale, I have heard a lot about them (and all good things). Their half of the collab are equally beautiful in their own way!
These are limited edition so you will want to grab these while you can, lest they disappear forever!!
