Happy November!!! Happy transition from fall into the holiday season!! Before we all go full-tilt with the red, green, and gold holiday nails, I’d like to share some swatches of the Girly Bits Cosmetics November 2017 Colour of the Month (CoTM) duo.
All swatches below are 2 coats plus one coat of Girly Bits What a Rush Quick-Dry Top Coat.
Cran-bury the Hatchet
Cran-bury the Hatchet is a bright cranberry holo with a vibrant red shimmer and flakes. It’s 4-free and the formula is just dreamy! I had nothing like this in my collection – I find it to be very unique and a perfect fall/Thanksgiving colour. I love the twist on the berry colour and the name is just money – Ashley Wilson was the one who came up with it during the Facebook naming contest (more on that later!)
Turducken is a warm bronze with low-density holo and red-to-gold shimmer. Can we just pause for a minute and reflect on the awesomeness of this name? If you don’t know, a Turducken is a chicken stuffed inside a duck which is then stuffed inside a turkey and the entire thing is roasted. I bet you’re seeing this polish in a whole new light now aren’t you? This is two easy coats and it’s a stunner! Well done Kelly Martin with your name suggestion for this one!
The November Colour of the Month polishes will be available for purchase from 12 noon EDT November 1st until 11:59 pm EDT November 30th.
Early Bird Special: Until November 10th you can get the duo at the special promo discount of $1 off per bottle. Turn-around time is currently 10-12 business days (always displayed on the front page of the Girly Bits site!).
And more on that naming contest! Are you a fan of Girly Bits polishes? Want the chance to win a bottle of polish? If you join the Facebook Fan Group Girly Bits Lovers you can participate in a monthly naming contest for future CoTM releases where if your suggested name is chosen not only will you get awesome bragging rights, Pam will send you a bottle of the polish!! There are lots of fun activities and various shenanigans (of the good kind!) happening in that group so definitely check it out!
And as always, follow Girly Bits on their social media to stay up-to-date on all of their gorgeous beauties along with sneak peaks an updated info:
Until next time, happy painting!
