When I was offered the chance to review some gorgeous Loose Glitters from Madam Glam I was both ecstatic and hesitant – I’ve seen a lot of reviews on these types of loose glitters and while the end result is gorgeous, they are often more trouble than they are worth, being difficult to apply properly without multiple attempts and several extra sets of hands. But I thought why not give it a shot (hey you’ll never know until you try right?) Turns out my fears were unfounded with these – Madam Glam did it right! Read on for swatches, application details, and more of my thoughts….
I was sent a selection of their holographic loose glitters:
To apply these, I painted my nails with a base colour and let it almost completely dry. Unlike other holo powders I’ve used, these do not require that exact right tackiness of polish before they will apply properly – they are very forgiving and you have a large window of application. I even applied some of them on a very dry base polish! I dipped my finger right into the pot and patted the glitter pigments onto my nail. Once I had good coverage I softly burnished my nail with the pad of my fingertip.
Here are the end results:
Colour me impressed. As far as holo payout and ease of use these loose glitters are a win-win and have brought me over to the glitter side!!!
