Happy April everyone, and long time no see! No no, I swear this isn’t an April Fool’s joke! It’s really me! I bring you some lovely pictures of a lovely polish – the Girly Bits contribution to April’s Polish Pickup theme – Works of Art.
Girly Bits Not Waterlilies is inspired by a stunning lithograph by Spanish artist Sunol Alvar:
Not Waterlilies is an intentionally sheer cyan/blue base with an amazing copper/red-to-green colour-shifting shimmer, and blue-to-aqua colour-shifting iridescent flakes. Here it is below in three coats:
There is still a teensy-bit of visible nail line (although it’s tough to see on my shorties) so for science I tried it over a few different bases.
Here it is over white:
And over black:
And over teal:
I think it’s beautiful over all of them! The formula is a joy to work with and I personally love it’s ethereal quality when worn on its own. Love the shift that pops out no matter how it’s worn.
Not Waterlilies is 5-free and cruelty-free. It retails for $13 USD with a cap of 400 bottles.
