Today I have news of a very exciting collab – Pam of Girly Bits Cosmetics has created this fantastic polish duo to mark the 1-year anniversary of another fantastic duo – Megan Edwards and Janet Reynolds’ (a.k.a The Und8ables) book “Girl, it’s Not You (it’s definitely him).”

We are less than one week away from Indie Expo Canada 2018 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and that means loads of gorgeous polishes!!
Girly Bits Cosmetics has created three beautiful Limited Edition Polishes especially for the event. They WILL be available online for a few months following the event, beginning in early July, with the exception of the thermal polish which will not be available online during the summer months due to the instability of thermal pigments in the summer heat.
June has arrived and with it we have a noticeable lack of snow up here in the great white north!!!! This is the time of year I generally start my countdown to the fall. Before I get there though I have this lovely Colour of the Month Duo from Girly Bits to get you in the summer mood!
Welcome back my friends!!! It’s time for another gorgeous swatchfest from Girly Bits Cosmetics! Today we have Put Your Strap On – the stunning contribution to this months Polish Pickup. The theme for June 2018 is video games! Pam was inspired by Wii Sports which she played not so well with her daughter. Remember how shortly after the Wii released there were all those complaints about smashed TV screens and bodily harm caused by errant flying Wii remotes? PUT YOUR STRAP ON!!!
When I heard the theme for May’s Polish Pickup was ’90’s Pop Culture I was really excited to see what the participating Indie makers would come up with. When I was asked to swatch Moonflower Polish’s contribution I Just Can’t Wait, I was even more stoked!!! I had so many major milestones happen in the ’90’s, High School Grad, University Grad, my first full-time career job (and second, and possibly third), that this decade has a very special place in my heart. What makes this even more exciting is I Just Can’t Wait is the first ever stamping polish to participate in Polish Pickup!!! How awesome is that! If you’d like to know more check out the swatches after the jump!
When I was offered the chance to review some gorgeous Loose Glitters from Madam Glam I was both ecstatic and hesitant – I’ve seen a lot of reviews on these types of loose glitters and while the end result is gorgeous, they are often more trouble than they are worth, being difficult to apply properly without multiple attempts and several extra sets of hands. But I thought why not give it a shot (hey you’ll never know until you try right?) Turns out my fears were unfounded with these – Madam Glam did it right! Read on for swatches, application details, and more of my thoughts….
