Moonflower Polish I Just Can’t Wait | Polish Pickup May 2018

*Press Sample*

When I heard the theme for May’s Polish Pickup was ’90’s Pop Culture I was really excited to see what the participating Indie makers would come up with. When I was asked to swatch Moonflower Polish’s contribution I Just Can’t Wait, I was even more stoked!!! I had so many major milestones happen in the ’90’s, High School Grad, University Grad, my first full-time career job (and second, and possibly third), that this decade has a very special place in my heart.  What makes this even more exciting is I Just Can’t Wait is the first ever stamping polish to participate in Polish Pickup!!! How awesome is that! If you’d like to know more check out the swatches after the jump!

Details will be at the end of the post (along with a discount code for you!) but for now, let’s jump into the swatches!

Hello everyone!! Today I’m reviewing 4 polishes from the new 8-piece Spring 2017 Pastel collection from indie stamping polish maker Moonflower Polish!!!

All of my swatches were stamped over Sinful Colours Black on Black and OPI Alpine Snow, and were topped with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly on Top. I used Bornprettystore Plate BPL-024 and a clear silicone stamper.

Beautifully opaque pastel pink:

A true pastel blue, reminiscent of one of my favourite flowers:

A bright minty green pastel – I suddenly really want ice cream…

An ultra pale blue-lavender:

And the other four in the collection are:

Lemon (pastel yellow)
Mango (pastel orange)
Moonflower (white)
Apple (pastel green)

As you can see, these pastels are vibrant over white yet SUPER opaque over black, which is just so hard to do!! These polishes stamped like an absolute dream, I didn’t have to fiddle around with different stampers or plates, nor did I have to adjust my stamping and scraping techniques at all. And the best part is they are 5-free, and hand-poured with love!!

The Spring 2017 Pastels are available for pre-order May 5th – May 12th, with a 2 week turnaround time prior to shipment.
